The EARC created its Training center to increase the number of students and professionals wanting to study in English speaking countries such as USA, UK, Australia, New Zealand and Canada, and to help applicants receive all they need to be well prepared for undergraduate and graduate studies. The Center provides courses on General English, Conversational English and admission tests such as iBT TOEFL, SAT, GRE and GMAT. 
 
Courses at Horizon Training Center

    Pre-Intermediate  Upper-Intermediate
    Intermediate         Conversational English

Included in every course are the following benefits:
    Handouts for the course
    Information on EARC activities
    Information on scholarship activities
    Advising sessions on study opportunities in the USA
    Membership for the EARC library services during the course period
    Free use of internet for 5 hours during the course period
    Participation in Movie Nights and Speaking clubs
    Book sale 10% off the original price
 
Course package for organizations

We also offer English courses to organizations at our center, or at the organizations' office, if necessary.
 
These courses are very effective for busy people and are designed for up to 10 people and meets three times a week. Each class lasts for 90 mins. For our trainings we use the “English File” textbooks published from Oxford University Press and other textbooks. 
The packages are:      

    ELEMENTARY/PREINTERMEDIATE/
    INTERMEDIATE  96 HRS OF CLASSES

    FOR 12 WEEKS

     UPPER- INTERMEDIATE/ADVANCED
     96 HRS OF CLASSES FOR 12 WEEKS
 
    BUSINESS ENGLISH - 64 HRS OF             CLASSES FOR 8 WEEKS

    CONVERSATIONAL ENGLISH - 64 HRS OF         CLASSSES FOR 8 WEEKS

About us Educational Advising & Resource Center started as one of the first programs launched by the Mongolian Foundation for Open Society in 1996 with purpose of
contributing to the development of an open society in Mongolia. The EARC has been functioning as an independent NGO since 2003.
EARC promotes educational opportunities at home and abroad, disseminates advice and information about scholarship opportunities across the country, and provides guidance and assistance to students wishing to study abroad. Another goal is to establish multicultural understanding through its bridge-building initiatives between individuals and institutions.
EARC is a member of the International Advising Network,EducationUSA, which is a global network of more than 450 advising centers supported by the Bureau of Educationaland Cultural Affairs at the U.S. Department of State. In addition to the main center operating in Ulaanbaatar,the EARC has branches in Darkhan, Erdenet, Khovd, Dornod and Umnugovi.
 
EducatuEducationUSA centers actively promote United States higher education around the world by offering accurate, unbaised, comprehensive, objective and timely information about educational opportunities in the United States and guidance to qualified individuals on how best to access those opportunities. Centers are staffed by professional advisers, many of whom have first-hand experience having studied in the United States themselves, and/or having received State Department-approved training about United States higher education and the advising process.
 
In association with the New York and London based Open Society Institute, the EARC Scholarships program sponsors Mongolian students and professionals in variety of rigorous and competitive academic exchange programs, prmarily in Socail sciences and Humanities, at the undergraduate and graduate levels.
 
Horizon training center
EARC reated Horizon training center to increase the number of students and professionals willing to study in the U.S. and other countries. Horizon provides courses on university admission tests such as iBT TOEFL, SAT, GRE and GMAT.
